Heritage Christian Concerts, Severn MD, Dec. 20, 2008 Covenant was honored to be part of Heritage Community Church's final Christian concert coffeehouse. A sad day, but a fun one...we worshipped the Lord with our friends in Severn MD!! This was the final coffeehouse for Heritage...and we took it out with a bang!! We rocked the house for Jesus and had a great time!! We are continuing to pray for this ministry as they hope for this coffeehouse to be continued in 2009. Please pray for them....all things are possible with God!! AMEN!?!?

Food/Clothing Giveaway with Restoration Ministries, Dec. 13, 2008 Saturday was an awesome day!!! We had the opportunity to once again, minister at the annual Food/Clothing Giveaway for the underprivileged!! What a day it was!! Over 700 people came through the doors as LOTS of volunteers shared Jesus....we shared food, clothes, gifts, music and more!! It was a blast!! Many salvations...MANY lives were changed that day!!! Our friends from 7Fold were there ministering as well!!! We thank God for the opportunity to sow into others lives this holiday season!!! Thank You Lord!!

Hope Community Center, Charlottesville, VA, Dec. 6, 2008 Covenant was so blessed to be a part of the first ever Food/Clothing Giveaway at the Hope Community Center on Saturday. The center received over 650 people and blessed them with food, clothes, music and more!!! Along with our friends in 7Fold, we jammed for the Lord while the people shopped and ate and worshipped! We had a great time!! Last mentioned, there were over 60 salvations!! God is SO good!!!

Community Outreach, Hand to Hand Ministries, Charlottesville, VA Nov. 22, 2008 Covenant was very blessed to be a part of Hand to Hand Ministries outreach for the second year in a row. What a blessing this ministry is ....they go into the streets and bring people in to feed and clothe. We start the day with a GREAT meal, play some music, preach some Word....it was an awesome service with lots of prayer and salvations!! God is so good!!! It was such a blessing!!! Praise God!!

Community Fall Blood Drive, Bealeton, VA, Nov. 21, 2008 Covenant traveled to Bealeton VA Friday night for Liberty Community Church's Community Blood Drive. Covenant ended the day with a concert in their coffeehouse!! We had a blast!!! We had some food, played some music, and most importantly, lifted up the name of the King!!! We all had a great time!! We are looking forward to heading back there next year!! Thank You Lord!!

Shenandoah Shiloh Church, Staunton, VA, Nov. 16, 2008 Covenant was honored to be asked to come help out for Sunday Morning service at Shenandoah Shiloh Church on Sunday. We had a great time ushering in the presence of the Lord with our new friends!!! Our biker buddies came and worshipped with us.....and it rocked!! We praised, danced, laughed and cried..the Spirit really moved and we were ALL forever changed!! God is SO good!!!

District Youth Fall Kickoff, Mt. Nebo, WV, Nov. 15, 2008 Covenant was SO blessed to be a part of this youth kickoff in West Va!! Over 20 churches were represented, along with over 100 youth, and alot of adults....and we had a blast!!! Covenant rocked the house before the games started!!! They had a huge gameshow..a GIANT Twister game...and food!!! It was so much fun!! We are so thankful to have been part of it!! Praise the Lord!!!

CafeJam, Greensboro, NC, Oct. 25, 2008 Covenant traveled to North Carolina Saturday night to Greensboro's Cafe Jam!!! We had an awesome time!!! It was such a blessing to minister with this group!! Not only is this a jam house on Saturday nights, its a church on Sundays!!! We got to minister with a new band, named Greater than the World....their 2nd gig ever.....and we had a blast!!! We had the local Teen Challenge guys there...and they were ready to rock for the Lord!!! We are looking forward to going back in the spring!! Thank You Lord!!!

Way Station Ministries, Waynesboro PA, Oct. 18, 2008 We were so blessed to travel to Pennsylvania Saturday night to Way Station Ministries!! We played there earlier in the year...and were very excited to be back!!! We had a really good turn out and had so much fun worshipping the Lord with our new friends!! We are very thankful for our new friends in Waynesboro PA and look forward to going back next year!!! Thank You Lord!!

Solid Rock Cafe with Howie Campbell & Free Union, Oct. 10, 2008 Covenant was at our 'home away from home' at Solid Rock Friday night. We welcomed our new friends Howie Campbell & Free Union!! We had a great time rocking it out for Jesus!!! There was food, fun, fellowship....lots of our friends were there!!! It was an awesome time in the Lord!!! Jammin 4 Jesus-Worship Night at FPCC, Waynesboro, VA, Oct. 3, 2008 Covenant had a worship night to Jam for Jesus Friday night!!! We had a couple of friends join us to play....our friend Dave on acoustic, Darrell on the drums, Dalton played a song with the band....and everybody worshipped and had a great time!! We had some snacks....and fellowship....it was a fun night!!! We had a great time jammin with our friends..and worshipping....we thank God for our gifts and talents and enjoy giving them back to HIM!!!

Revolution Church Biker Sunday, Waynesboro VA, Sept. 28, 2008 Covenant was honored to be able to worship with our friends at Revolution Church in Waynesboro Sunday. Pastor Shane kicked it off with an awesome service...great P&W, an inspiring Word from God....then, we had lunch and a concert from Covenant!!! We worshipped, ate and danced...all before the Lord!!! It was awesome!!! We had such a great time!!! We never get tired of worshipping with true, Godly friends!!! Thank You Lord!!!

Heritage Christian Concerts, Severn MD, Sept. 27, 2008 Well, we finally made it to Severn MD this Saturday!!! Last time we attempted to get to Severn, our truck broke down!! But, praise God, we made it this time and what a place it was!! They kept telling us this church was huge, and it was!!! But, overall, that doesn't mean much to us, but maybe more nerves!!! We would worship and play for God in a little one room church....but God has other plans sometimes!! We loved those guys up there...we played two sets of music ...and had a great time!!! They even booked us a date in December!!! So, praise God!!!

Valley Bike Fest II, Waynesboro, VA, Sept. 21, 2008 We were honored to be a part of the 2nd Valley Bike Fest this year!!! It was another beautiful day and it was SO much fun!!! Unfortunately, our friends from 7Fold couldn't make it...so we jumped in and played two sets..but it was great!! We had a great time lifting up the Lord with our friends from the Rock in Richmond..then Dogs of Prey closed out the day!! We are looking forward to next year already!!! Praise the Lord!!!

Faith Point Family Fun Day, Fishersville, VA, Sept. 20, 2008 Covenant was out at Faith Point's land on 608 Saturday!! It was a beautiful day!!! Faith Point was raising money to pay off the land they are planning to build on! It was a day of games, food & music...and we had a blast!!! Faith Point & Oak Grove's P&W team played, along with the Expressions and Covenant!! It was an awesome day in the Lord!!!

Glory Days, St Pauls UMC Staunton VA, Sept. 13, 2008 Covenant was very blessed to be asked to participate in the Glory Days Festival at St Pauls UMC in Staunton on Saturday. The weather was beautiful, HOT, but beautiful!!! There is nothing better than praising God under His wonderful creation!!! We jammed with After a Thousand...and had rides for the kids, food for everyone...it was a great time!!! We loved it and look forward to worshipping the Lord with those guys again!!! Thank You Lord!!!

Saturday Night Addiction, Charlottesville, VA, Sept. 6, 2008 No hurricane stops us!!! haha...Virginia was threatened with a hurricane on Saturday...but praise God, we were determined to play for the Lord anyway!!! And if you didn't get to make it, you missed out!!! As you see, not only did we play, but we played outside as planned and it was awesome!! We totally LOVED ministering with the crew at SNA!!! Pastor Clif and Pastor Dan ROCK!! They welcomed us like family...we rocked it out for Jesus and Pastor Dan shared an AWESOME Word from the Lord!!! We are so very thankful for our new family at SNA!! We cant wait to go back!!! Praise God!!!

Matt Ergenbright's Celebration of Life, Waynesboro, VA, Aug. 31, 2008 Covenant was HONORED to be part of a tribute to the life of Matt Ergenbright Sunday night. Matt was a young husband & father that lost his life to cancer in August. Covenant, along with a group called the Faithful Men and our friends, 7Fold, spent the night worshipping the Lord and celebrating this young mans life!! Even though some parts of the night were sad, overall, the night ended up so lifting and life changing! The Spirit was definitely moving in this place...and the Lord was glorified!! We praise God for the opportunity to be a part of this event and made a bunch of new friends in which we are SO thankful!!! Thank You Lord!!!

Park Rock Fest, Great Mills, MD, August 30, 2008 Covenant traveled to Maryland once again this past weekend to be part of the 2008 Park Rock Fest. This is an annual fest with over 140+ bands!!! We were one of a couple Christian bands that we knew of....but we had a blast!! It' kind of cool marching into the enemy's camp and worshipping the Lord!!! It was a HOT but beautiful day!! And, we had a great time taking our message to so many!! God is SO good!!!

Solid Rock Cafe, Waynesboro, VA August 24, 2008 Sunday, was the last date for the Summer Concert Series at Solid Rock Cafe in Waynesboro VA. Covenant was so blessed to be a part of that. We rocked it out for about two hours or so of Jesus praise!!! We had a great turn out..the weather was beautiful.....it was a huge blessing!! It's always an honor to praise the Lord and share His Word with music!!! We are so thankful to be a part of that ministry there!! We Love You Lord!!!

Fun in the Son, Clifton Forge, Aug. 23, 2008 Covenant was part of First Assembly's Fun in the Son in Clifton Forge Saturday. First Assembly has been putting on this event for the community for 10 years! It was a fun weekend for us!! We started out by camping out down there Friday night and spending the day on Saturday fellowshipping, worshipping, playing games, eating, it was great!!! The day was beautiful!!! This year we got to share the stage with the Chi Alpha Praise Band from Virginia Tech!!! Those guys were great and we really enjoyed meeting them!! We look forward to another year of sharing Jesus with this community!!! Thank You Lord!!!

Latte Rain Cafe, Baltimore, MD, August 15, 2008 Friday night, Covenant was in the heart of Baltimore at the Latte Rain Cafe!!! We had a blast worshipping the Lord with those guys!!! Got some good food too!!! Wings and fries...it was great!!! We are so thankful for the new friends we met there and hope to go back in the future!! Thank You Lord!!!

Poker Run Bike Fest, Greenville, VA. August 10, 2008 Covenant was part of the Poker Run in Greenville on Sunday. It was a beautiful day, well, for most of it!!! The day was a great day of fun, food & music!!! It ended up rather adventurous though....when we got up to play, we only made it to the end of the third song...and the rains came!!! But, everyone was SO great....they all pitched in and we got all the equipment in just in time before the heavy rains came!!! Most importantly, there were FIVE salvations!!!!...and others who asked for prayer and deliverance from addictions...it was a GREAT day overall!!! Knowing people are drawn closer to God makes it all worth it!!! God is GOOD!!!

Straight Street Ministries, Clifton Forge, VA, August. 9, 2008 We were so blessed to be a part of the Straight Street Ministries Youth outreach Saturday!! They had food, games and music for the youth in the community!!! AND for a special treat, they brought in Boarders for Christ! A youth skateboarding ministry that really showed their love for those guys!!! They did an awesome skate demo and also shared Jesus!!! It was an AWESOME day!!! We were so thankful to be a part of it....and had a great time!!! Thank You Lord!!!

Community Fun Day, Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene Stuarts Draft, VA, August, 3, 2008 Covenant was part of the Community Fun Day in Stuarts Draft! It was VERY HOT..but a beautiful day!!! They had games for the kids, food, drinks and music!!! We had a blast lifting up the Lord!!! Our kids got soaking wet on the games.....but, the church had an awesome turnout!!! We had a great time! And looking forward to going back in the near future!!!

Sugar Grove VA, Back to School Bash, August 2, 2008 We were so honored to be able to go back to Sugar Grove AGAIN this summer!!! We absolutely LOVE it there!!! It is like home to us now...and we love hanging out with those guys!!! The day was a bit rainy at first...but praise God, the skies opened up...we set up our equipment, and it was beautiful!!! The night was great....we worshipped the Lord...rocked it out!!! We got to eat..hang out and play games....it was alot of fun!!! Most importantly, there were 8 salvations!!! WOOHOO!! We look forward to next summer already!!! Thank You Lord!!

Praise in the Park, Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton, VA, July 29, 2008 Covenant was blessed again this year to be a part of Praise in the Park at Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton. It was a rough start with a huge downpouring of rain!!! It drenched EVERYTHING very quickly!!! But, right around 7p it started to let up....everyone got to work drying off all the equipment...and we went on playing and worshipping the Lord!! It was a great turn out--people were so faithful to stick around and wait the rain out!! It was a great time of praise and ended up being a beautiful night!!! Thank YOU LORD!!!

Worship Fest 2008, Kelley St, Harrisonburg VA, July 26, 2008 We were so blessed to be a part of the annual Worship Fest in Harrisonburg on Saturday!! A trailer was set up right on Kelley Street, and bands ministered all day long!!! Along with the music, the Word was also shared...we had such a great time!! Eternally Grafted Conference, Fishersville, VA, July 21, 2008 Covenant was at Cornerstone Church of Augusta tonight for the Eternally Grafted Conference, sponsored by Restoration Ministries. This was a two day seminar focusing on praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Covenant opened the night with some worship. Then we had special guest speakers and Pastor Randall closing out the night with some powerful Word!!! We closed the night with some praises to the King!!! It was a very fun night!! Thank You Lord!! We ministered at the Presbox Christian Coffeehouse which is held weekly at the Churchville Presbyterian Church. As always, we had a great time worshipping the Lord with those folks!! Souled Out Youth Revival, Sugar Grove Baptist Church, June 28, 2008 Covenant was honored to be a part of the Sugar Grove Baptist Souled Out Youth Revival this past weekend!! The weekend was so awesome!! We started out hanging out on Friday with music by 7-Miles and a big bonfire afterwards!! Covenant play on Saturday, and rocked it out for Jesus!! We had 11 salvations Friday night, 8 on Saturday...and MANY MORE re-dedications and other salvations we probably don't even know about!! Praise God!! He is SOOOO good!!! Those guys are such a blessing!! We cant wait to go back and worship with them!!!

Block Party, Front Royal, VA, June 21, 2008 Covenant had a blast in Front Royal this weekend!!! The annual block party at the gazebo is always a hit!!! From 5p-10p bands played and people gathered!! We had an awesome time lifting up the Lord!! We are so thankful the weather held out....it was beautiful!!! The turn out was great...and ultimately, the King was praised!!! The weather wasn't so pleasant at first--it was pouring rain!! Good thing we played inside!! But, we had a great time playing for the Lord in this little coffee house!! Set Apart Youth Group, Fishersville Baptist Church, May 28, 2008 Covenant was so blessed to be able to minister at the youth night at Fishersville Baptist Church Wednesday night. This youth group is awesome!!! They have such hearts for God!!! A couple of the youth gave testimonies, their youth leader Shannon shared some Word...and Covenant rocked it out for the King!! Severn MD, Heritage Christian Concerts, May 24, 2008 Well, we are sad to announce we had to cancel our first gig in 2 1/2 years. Two hours into our trip to Maryland, our truck broke down, right outside of Frederick MD. After about an hour of unsuccessful attempts to get a ride to the church OR a tow, God sent us Jeff--the 'tow-dude' from McKinney's. We were SO happy to see Jeff!!! It ended up being a very fun day considering what happening. We got our truck hooked up, but had to stop and pick up another tow on the way!! However, we were just thankful to get off the side of the road and get a ride home!! So, praise God for sending us Jeff--who hooked us up (literally) with a deal!! Needless to say, we are SO sorry we had to cancel...but plan to reschedule with the church at a later date!!!

DecembeRadio Concert, New Hope Bible Church, Front Royal, May 17, 2008 We were so honored to be asked to open up for the DecembeRadio concert in Front Royal this past Saturday. We had such a great time!!! Covenant got to open up before the big concert...and man, we had a blast!!! We got to enjoy the music of DecembeRadio...those guys are SO very awesome!!! Not only musically, but they're hearts are awesome as well!! Those guys have humble, servants hearts...and it was truly an honor to share the stage with them!! They LOVE serving the King...and it shows!! Thank You Lord for this opportunity!!!
Expressions 25th Anniversary, Clifton Forge, VA , May 17, 2008 Covenant ministered in Clifton Forge this weekend for The Expressions 25th Anniversary Celebration. Tammys family make up most of The Expressions--and they have been ministering now for over 25 years!! We were honored to be a part of that!! Also, we were the first band to play in the new building built on the grounds of the First Assembly Church in Clifton Forge. The new building was dedicated as: The Expressions Theatre & Opry House.

Solid Rock Adult Night, Waynesboro, VA, May 9, 2008 Covenant ministered at adult night at Solid Rock Friday night. It was a night of praise and music lifted towards the heavens!! We always have fun at Solid Rock---it's like home to Covenant, considering it was the first real place we ever played!!! So, it's like going back home!!! We ministered along with our NEW friends Allison B, the Witherspoon Band and My Personal Bravery...all bands sound done by none other than the greatest--- our good friend Jeremy!!! We had a blast!! Camp Overlook Youth Retreat, Mar. 28-29, 2008 Wow...not enough space to talk about the great time we had this weekend!!! Covenant was SO honored to be a part of Camp Overlook's Youth retreat this past weekend. We opened up Friday night with some music and then closed out the night with some more!!! Saturday, we started the morning off with some P&W, we also got to share some Word and testimonies with the youth that afternoon. THEN, we ended up playing "Capture the Flag" with them!! Oh my..what a time we had!! We closed out the evening with even MORE music!! They put us all up in a four bedroom house and fed us....we got to hang out and meet TONS of awesome people!! We were so very blessed, and pray they were too!! Thank YOU so much Lord!

Maple Grove Christian Church, Feb. 16, 2008 Covenant was extremely honored to be a part of Hand to Hand Ministries Saturday!!! This ministry buses in people from the inner city to feed them, give them food and clothes, and show them the love of Jesus!! Covenant got to worship with them before they learned from the Word of God!! It was a truly AWESOME day!!! You could feel the love of Jesus just walking in the church!! We are SOOOO thankful to be a part of what the Lord is doing there!! Thank YOU JESUS!!!

Keisha Schmidts Birthday Party, Faith Point CC, January 18, 2008 Covenant played at their first birthday party Friday night---for Keisha!!! We had a blast!! Not only was it a great turn out, we had a lot of laughs too!! We made Keisha play "Don't forget the lyrics" to her favorite Covenant songs, and it was great!!! We were honored to celebrate her birthday--she is a vital part to our ministry and we love her dearly!! We are thankful for her!! Thank You Lord!!!

Benefit for Crisis Line of Central VA, Lynchburg, VA January 12, 2008 What an honor it was for Covenant to be a part of this night!!! Covenant was part of a benefit, in memory of Beau Dougan, to raise money for the Crisis Line of Central Virginia-Suicide Prevention. We met Beau's Mom in Roanoke when we ministered at Layman Church. Beau ended his life in January 2007. They asked Covenant to come and be part of this benefit, and we couldn't have been happier to do it!!! We had a great time praising the Lord and fellowshipping with everyone there!! We are so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to next year!! Thank You Lord!!!

Stuarts Draft Christian Homes, January 5, 2008 Covenant was SO blessed to minister at Stuarts Draft Christian Homes Saturday night!! It was their monthly Saturday Night Live! And we had a great time!! The facility was VERY impressive..but most of all, the people were impressive!! They were so appreciative to have us there, but we were even more appreciative to be there for them!! We loved chatting with them afterwards!! Tanya even got a couple of the ladies jumping!!!
